I was following Kitchen Soldier on Naver webtoon and went back to read the original novel — dropped it the second that female character showed up. Even setting aside the specific wording, she's underage, but she's written like she's obviously fair game romantically. It hit me the same way as that line from Solo Leveling about whether the main character slept with Min-cha [a minor character] — 'ohhh~' like it's a fun ambiguous thing (he didn't actually, but the framing was the problem).
