Section 512(f) Warning / 허위 신고 경고: Knowingly making material misrepresentations in a takedown notice may subject you to liability for damages, including costs and attorney fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Please consider whether fair use, commentary, or news reporting applies before filing.

1. Notice and Takedown Procedure

KDramaPulse respects the intellectual property rights of copyright holders and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512, DMCA), the Korean Copyright Act (저작권법 제103조), and EU Directive 2019/790. This Policy applies to editorial articles, translated community excerpts, and embedded media on kdramapulse.com.

For content hosted on third-party platforms (e.g., embedded YouTube videos), please contact the originating platform directly.

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will:

  • acknowledge within 2 business days;
  • review for compliance;
  • remove or disable access to the identified material expeditiously; and
  • notify the affected party.

2. What to Include in a Notice

To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your written notice must include ALL of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work / 저작물 특정

    Title of the work, registration number if available, and URL where the original appears. For multiple works, a representative list is acceptable.

  2. Location of the infringing material / 침해 콘텐츠 URL

    The full URL of the page on kdramapulse.com where the allegedly infringing material appears, with enough description to locate it on that page.

  3. Your contact information / 연락처

    Full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address. If submitting as an authorized agent, identify the copyright owner and your relationship.

  4. Good faith statement / 선의 진술

    "I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."

  5. Accuracy statement (under penalty of perjury) / 정확성 선서

    "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate, and I am the copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."

  6. Signature / 서명

    Your physical or electronic signature. Typed full legal name is acceptable as an electronic signature.

3. Submit a Takedown Notice

Use the form below or email admin@kdramapulse.com with subject DMCA TAKEDOWN NOTICE.

Submitting this form constitutes a legal declaration. False claims may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). We process all valid notices within 2 business days.

4. Counter-Notice Procedure

이의 신청 절차

If you believe your content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). Your counter-notice must include: (1) identification of the removed material; (2) your contact information; (3) a good faith statement under penalty of perjury; (4) consent to Federal District Court jurisdiction; and (5) your physical or electronic signature.

Send counter-notices to admin@kdramapulse.com with subject DMCA COUNTER-NOTICE. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed content within 10–14 business days unless the complainant seeks a court order.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i)(1)(A), KDramaPulse terminates the access of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Because kdramapulse.com does not currently offer user-generated content accounts, this policy applies to any partners or contributors who are subject to valid takedown notices on more than two occasions.
