He is genuinely incredible — the thing is, he doesn't move like someone who decided how to move. He moves like the character moves. You can't see the intent behind it — the 'okay now I'll do this, now I'll say it like that' is completely invisible. It feels like watching the character be alive.
With other dramas you can catch those moments where an actor's calculating how a move will read on camera — that's entirely absent here. That character is living and breathing on his own.

I've never read a web novel and I still completely feel what everyone's describing — the face, the way he moves, how he speaks, the whole aura — it all hits as THIS IS IT, this is what a protagonist who walked out of a book you couldn't put down looks like ㅠㅠㅠ Looking at clips from his other dramas, I feel like he'd be perfect for classic literary romance adaptations too.....

Episode 10 is great but this is NOT a drama for casual viewers —
the deeper you dig the more it wrecks you ㅋㅋ the fandom detectives are out hunting for every background detail and callback, and every new layer they find just makes it worse ㅋㅋ it's also DELICIOUS with its clichés.
Everyone's been confidently predicting what happens next — every single prediction has been wrong because the show keeps subverting the tropes ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
It's not even a genre thriller but it's this unpredictable? So good

Genuinely... acting that feels like the ro-pan text given a physical body. The pacing — knowing when to go big and bold, knowing when to pull back and go precise — is perfect. The nonverbal details (especially the eyebrows), where he directs his gaze, voice tone — all of it is so specific that the performance lands with so much more weight. The character feels like a person who actually exists, and you're always anticipating his next line and move.
I first clocked his acting in Your Honor and have been following his filmography since — so glad My Royal Nemesis is doing well ㅜㅜ Please keep working hard and give us more!

I'm the type who goes cold fast the second acting or directing shows a crack, but so far?? Holding up!!
