EXCLUSIVE: *Brave New World* Cast and Crew Head to Vietnam for Reward Trip
[단독]임지연·허남준… '멋진 신세계' 팀 포상휴가
The cast and crew of SBS's *Brave New World* are leaving Korea from July 7 to July 10 to celebrate the drama's strong run, with Phu Quoc, Vietnam as the finalized destination, Mydaily has exclusively confirmed.
This marks the first overseas reward trip for an SBS drama cast since *Dr. Romantic 2* flew to Saipan in February 2020 — a six-year gap that COVID travel restrictions had imposed on the industry.
Lead actors Im Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-jun will headline the trip, joined by the bulk of the cast and production staff. A handful of cast members with unavoidable scheduling conflicts will not attend.
*Brave New World* still has four episodes left before its June 20 finale on a 14-episode run. It topped GoodData Corporation's FUNdex TV-OTT combined buzz ranking for the third consecutive week as of the first week of June. On Netflix, the show logged 4.1 million views as of May 27 and holds the No. 5 spot on Netflix's global top 10 non-English TV chart.

포상휴가 (reward vacation) is a Korean industry tradition where a production company funds a group trip abroad for cast and crew after a commercially successful project. It functions as a public thank-you gesture and a press moment.
